Basket Chaat Recipe: Get the taste of Lucknow’s famous Basket Chaat, make it in this easy way

Basket Chaat Recipe: Basket chaat of Lucknow has become quite famous due to its special taste. Generally, chaat is very much liked as a street food everywhere. Ingredients for Basket Chaat
Maida – 1 cup
Potato – 2
Pomegranate seeds – 2 tbsp
Sprouts – 1/4 cup
Curd – 1/4 cup
Green Coriander Chutney – 2 tbsp
Tamarind chutney – 2 tbsp
Boondi – 2 tbsp
Besan Sev – 1/4 cup
Green coriander chopped – 2 tbsp
Red chili powder – 2 pinch
Roasted cumin powder – 1/4 tsp
Black salt – as per taste
Papdi – 2
Oil – for frying
Salt – as per taste

How to make Basket Chaat
To make Basket Chaat, first take all purpose flour and sieve it in a vessel. Now add a pinch of salt and 1 tablespoon oil to it and mix it well. Knead the dough by adding little water to the maida. After that cover it with a cotton cloth and keep it aside for about half an hour. After the stipulated time take the dough and knead it once again and then make balls out of it. Now take one dough ball and roll it into a round shape.

When the dough is rolled, place a bowl in the middle of it and stick the belly puri on its outer part. Before this, apply oil on the bowl around from above. Now put oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame. When the oil becomes hot, leave the bowl full of belly in it. Slowly the bowl will start separating in the oil. Now deep fry the bowl prepared with all purpose flour till it becomes crispy. After that take it out and keep it aside in a plate.
Now take the sprouts and boil it. After this, first put the sprouts in the bowl of maida. Put some curd and green coriander chutney on it. Then add sweet tamarind chutney and put pomegranate seeds on top. Now add some red chili powder, roasted cumin powder, black salt. After this, garnish with chopped green coriander leaves by adding sev of boondi and gram flour. Basket chaat full of Lucknowi flavor is ready.
