Dalia Cutlet Recipe: If you want to have low calorie breakfast then make Dalia Cutlet

Dalia Cutlet Recipe: On hearing the name of cutlet, many people’s mouth waters. Cutlets are very much liked as a starter. Usually potato cutlets are served, but have you ever tasted Dalia cutlet. We all know the benefits of porridge in terms of health, but porridge is usually eaten plain, but porridge cutlets are rich in nutrients as well as tasty. They can be eaten as breakfast or as a snack during the day. It is very easy to make porridge cutlet. The special thing about this recipe is that people who do not like to eat porridge are also seen eating dalia cutlets after taking their taste.

Ingredients for making Oatmeal Cutlets
Oatmeal – 1 bowl
Potato – 4
Onion finely chopped – 1
Besan – 4 tbsp
Rice flour – 3 tbsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric – 3/4 tsp
Garam Masala – 1 tsp
Amchur – 1 tsp
Green chilies chopped – 2
Chaat masala – 1 tsp
Curry leaves – 12-15
Oil – for frying
Salt – as per taste

How to make Oatmeal Cutlets
To make oatmeal cutlet, first take oatmeal and wash it after cleaning it. After this, soak the porridge in water for half an hour and keep it. Now take the potatoes and grate them. After this, remove the water of grated potato and oatmeal in the mixing bowl and put it. Add finely chopped onions, curry leaves and green chilies to it. Mix everything well. After this add red chili powder, coriander powder, chaat masala, garam masala, mango powder, gram flour, rice flour, turmeric and salt as per taste.

Now prepare dough by mashing all the mixture well without adding water. Actually, there is enough water in grated potato and porridge, so extra water will not be required for dough. Now prepare cutlets from the prepared dough and keep them aside in a plate.
Put oil in a pan and keep it to heat on medium flame. When the oil becomes hot, add porridge cutlets and deep fry them. Fry the cutlets from both the sides till they become golden in color. After this, take out the cutlets separately in a plate and keep them. Similarly fry all the cutlets. Your delicious porridge cutlets for breakfast are ready. It can be served with tomato sauce or chutney.
