Cooked Idli – cut into 12 big pieces
Cabbage – bowl chopped
Capsicum – 1 chopped
Onion – 2 chopped
Green Onion – 2 pieces chopped
Ginger – 1 tsp Chopped
Garlic – 1 tsp Chopped
Green chili – 2 finely chopped
Soya Sauce – 2 tsp
Chili Sauce – 1 tbsp
Tomato Sauce – 1 tbsp
Corn Flour – 1½ tbsp
Refined oil – 8 tbsp
Salt – as per taste

How to make Idli Manchurian
Cut the idli into thick pieces. If you want, you can also leave it whole. Heat 2 tbsp refined oil in a pan and leave the idlis on low flame till crisp. When one side of the idli turns red and crispy, then make the idli crispy on the other side. Take out the crispy idlis in a plate. Instead of putting all the idlis together, crisp them in 2-3 times. When all the idlis are fried, then add the remaining oil in the same pan and add ginger, garlic and green chilies and fry for 1 minute.

Then add onion, cabbage and capsicum to it and fry it on high flame for 3-4 minutes. Now add all the sauce in it. Add half a cup of water to the corn flour and mix it well and put it in the pan. Make sure that there are no lumps in the cornflour. Mix everything well and add salt on top. Now add idli and stir it. Stir it with light hands, so that the hot idlis do not break. Lastly, garnish with green onions and serve idli manchurian hot.
