Protein Balls Recipe: Protein nutrition is very important to keep our body healthy. This is the reason why we take protein diet through different foods. Protein is found in abundance in many foods. As much as it is necessary to take a protein diet for children of growing age, the body feels the need of protein even during the age of sloping age. Today we are going to tell you the recipe of making protein balls prepared from foods rich in protein. With its help, you can easily prepare protein balls full of taste and health.

Along with dry fruits, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame and other things are used to make protein balls. If you have not tried this recipe yet, then you can easily prepare them at home with the method given by us.

Ingredients for making Protein Balls
Sesame – 1/2 cup
Peanuts – 1/2 cup
Almonds – 2 tbsp
Pistachios – 2 tbsp
Dry coconut grated – 1/2 cup
Pumpkin seeds – 2 tbsp
Sunflower seeds – 2 tbsp
Fig – 2
Dates – 2-3
Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
Jaggery – one and a half cup

How to make Protein Balls
To make protein balls, in the first step, take a thick-bottomed pan, add peanuts and roast them on low flame. Dry roast the grains till they become golden in color and they become crispy. After this, turn off the gas and keep the grains to cool down. After the peanuts cool down, grind them in a mixer to make powder. Keep the peanut powder aside in a bowl. Similarly dry roast sesame seeds and make powder of it and keep it in another bowl.

After making peanut and sesame powder, in the second step, put almonds and pistachios in a pan and fry till they become crispy. After this put sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds together and dry roast both of them. After this, prepare powder from them too. Now take dry coconut and grate it. After this, roast it on the gas on low flame. When the smell of coconut starts coming, then turn off the gas and keep it in a bowl.
Now in the third step, take a big mixing bowl and add peanut powder, sesame powder, dry fruits and pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds powder and mix them all well. After this, add finely pieces of figs and dates and mix them in this mixture. Add cardamom powder to it and mix it.

In the fourth step, heat 1/4 cup of water in a pan. Add jaggery to it and let it heat up. Boil it till one string jaggery syrup is ready. After that turn off the gas. Let the syrup cool down a bit, after that put all the mixture in the mixing bowl and mix it well. The mixture will thicken well after 1-2 minutes of adding. In the fifth and last step, put ghee in the bottom of a plate or tray and spread the mixture in it and let it cool down. When the mixture cools down, prepare protein balls by making laddoos of your choice. After drying, they can also be stored in an airtight container.
